Like noir movies, you know? Slow pace but strong feel. A lot of character, short but strong sentences. Nothing shiny but fine matte.

This edition is made of two types of porcelain. The cups are made of black porcelain. Porcelain is colored with a special technique to get that deep black nuance. Only the interior of a cup is glazed.

Saucers are made of British Audrey Blackman porcelain known for its milky nuance. They are wheel-thrown, as well as the cups, so are of a more tranquil appearance and regular shape. They are glazed on the upper side and are having that nice dent in the middle to hold the cup steady.
