Welcome!

After four years in our first studio shop, we realized that change was on the horizon. As a team, we grew, and navigating between various piles in the studio began to develop acrobatic skills in each of us.

Thinking pragmatically, the next step would be to separate the production space, likely moving it to a part of town with lower rents and keeping just the downtown shop. However, every success is always based on the excellent response of some people, the community. People are why we all enjoyed having the shop and studio as one space. Communicating with different people and the atmosphere that arises builds the brand and the relationship with the people around us, as well as with all the people around the world who have not yet visited Belgrade and our place but are interested in us, buying from us. Being able to give back to the community means improving it as well. It's investing in the mechanism that moves us all forward. That's why we wanted to provide our community with a space that enriches it and offers an even greater gathering place.

Many places looked good, but there was always something small preventing them from becoming our new address. The real home was waiting for us.

The childhood of Boya ended. It was beautiful! Leaving the old shop&studio was emotional, with many moving gestures from the neighbors. But we had a warm welcome in the new neighborhood as well!

Our new place is a two-story space. The ground floor is an exhibition area. On the left, you can see custom-made metal shelves holding most of the pieces we have in stock at any moment.

The central table serves as a focal point - a gathering place.

The main idea was to create a sense of home. We found these two armchairs in the most unusual and largest antique shop we have ever seen, and they are here for all our guests. The golden mirror, which was a trademark of the old space, has found its place here as well.

Further on the ground floor is the office space. We needed a place for business meetings, so we wanted it to be warmer and not too formal. We love the vibe of a classy study.

We are now in Carigradska, a chestnut tree-lined street in the central Dorćol neighborhood. Carigrad is the old Serbian name for Istanbul, and the street is part of the medieval trade route that connected the two civilizations, Eastern and Western. Dorćol is a Turkish word for an intersection, as the Carigrad road intersected with the trade route to Dubrovnik here. As craftsmen and locals, we find these facts fun and inspiring. We often think about the impact of culture on design and the message we send to the world.

We have large windows facing the street with plenty of natural light in the earlier hours.

The star of the new space is the wall installation made of porcelain, which is our work.

The upper level is divided into two parts. The studio is the heart of our entire operation. In this space, it has gained peace and more daylight. Of course, everyone is still welcome to visit.

Those were pictures of the studio, and this is where we will welcome you to the workshops.
